# Exstats > Exstats is a browser extension analytics platform that crawls Chrome Web Store, Edge Add-ons, and Firefox Add-ons daily, collecting ratings, users, reviews, categories, rankings, and more for 360,000+ extensions. It helps extension developers and marketers track performance, monitor competitors, research the market, and set up alerts — all from one dashboard. Key concepts: - A **Product** groups listings of the same extension across different stores (e.g. Chrome + Edge + Firefox) and optionally includes competitor extensions for side-by-side comparison. The product name is auto-generated from its listings but can be overridden. - A **Listing** is a specific extension in a specific store — the atomic unit of tracked data. In human-facing contexts (descriptions, empty states), the word "extension" is used instead. - An **Alert** is a monitoring rule attached to a listing that notifies you on changes (rating drops, ranking shifts, field updates) via email or Slack, on a daily/weekly/monthly schedule. Each alert contains a set of rules (field + condition + optional value). During product creation, users can toggle on default alerts that create "any field, any change" rules for all listings automatically. - **Tracked Keywords** are search terms attached to a product, used to monitor your extension's ranking position in store search results across all three stores. Keywords can be added manually or generated with AI. - Store metrics differ: Chrome shows weekly active users, Edge shows active install count, Firefox shows average daily users — Exstats shows each metric as-is with store-specific tooltips explaining what the number means. Metrics are never combined across stores. Data scope: - 360,000+ extensions tracked - 600+ days of historical data (on Business plan) - 8,000,000+ reviews collected - Data sourced from public store pages only (US storefront baseline) - Themes are excluded — extensions only - Data updates once per day, typically available by early morning UTC ## Platform ### Products Create products that group your extension listings across Chrome, Edge, and Firefox under one entity. Add competitors for side-by-side comparison. At least one store listing is required. Each product has a detail page with four tabs: **Overview** — Performance chart (line graph of metrics over time with toggleable store lines), Your Listings table, and Competitor Listings table. The Performance chart supports three scale modes: Compare (all series start at 100), Log (logarithmic), and Absolute (raw values). Two line modes: Step (exact values) and Smooth (highlights trend). Table columns: Extension (with store icon), Avg. Rating, Users, Rating Count, Reviews, Category Rank. **Reviews** — All reviews across the product's listings in one table. Columns: Rating, Review, Store, Date, Author. **Keywords** — Tracked keywords table with columns: Keyword, Chrome Rank, Edge Rank, Firefox Rank, Difficulty. Users can add keywords manually or generate them with AI. Clicking a keyword opens a drawer with rank breakdown by store (including 1D, 7D, 30D changes) and a "Rank Over Time" line chart. **Alerts** — Table of all product and competitor listings with alert status. Each row has a switcher (create/enable/disable), rule tags, and frequency tags. Clicking a row opens the Edit Alert dialog for rule, frequency, and status configuration. ### Explorer Market research tool. Select a store and explore all listings using a data table with 20–40 columns depending on the store — all scraped fields plus aggregated deltas (1D, 7D, 30D changes for numeric fields). Column picker for display customization. Multi-field filtering and sorting on paid plans. Export to CSV and XLSX. ### Trends (Store Trends) Store-level analytics dashboard. Select a store and view overall statistics and trends across three sections: **Extensions** — Four counters (Total Extensions, Total Users, Total Developers, Avg. Update Interval) each with percentage change vs last week and a 7-day sparkline. Extension Activity stacked bar chart (new, updated, removed, relisted — groupable by day/week/month/year). Growing Listings chart (extensions with biggest growth by rating or users). **Categories** — Categories Breakdown vertical bar chart (switchable: by Extension Count, by Avg. Rating, by Rating Count). Growing Categories chart (categories with biggest growth in selected metric). **Ratings** — Four counters (Total Ratings, Total Reviews, Total Reviewers, Average Rating) based on currently active extensions. Average Rating Distribution chart (extensions grouped by rating ranges). Review Activity bar chart (new reviews per period). ### Alerts (Global Page) Manage all alerts across all products in one place. Table columns: listing name, store, rules, frequency, and enabled/disabled switcher. Context menu with Edit and Delete actions. Alert configuration options: - Rules: field + condition + optional value (e.g. "average rating decreases by 10%", "any field, any change") - Frequency: daily, weekly, monthly (multiple can be selected) - Delivery: email, Slack - Status: enabled / disabled ## Pricing All plans include daily data updates and access to the core platform. **Starter** — Free - 7 days data history - 1 product, 3 competitors - 10 keywords - 3 alerts, daily frequency, email only - Explorer: basic search, 1 page of results **Pro** — $16/mo (billed annually, or $19/mo monthly) - 90 days data history - 3 products, 6 competitors each - 100 keywords - 30 alerts, daily + weekly frequency - Explorer: advanced search & sort - Export CSV, up to 500 rows - Trends: top-level metrics **Business** — $39/mo (billed annually, or $49/mo monthly) - Everything in Pro - 1+ year data history - 10 products, 15 competitors each - 500 keywords - 200 alerts, all frequencies - Export CSV/XLSX, up to 5,000 rows - Trends: full dashboard - Slack alerts - 3 team seats (+$10/seat) **Enterprise** — Custom pricing.
